Coming from the A13 via exit TU Delft, the Green Parking Lot is immediately accessible. It provides parking places for restaurants and the hotel at the Green Campus Grounds, for TUD employees, for Technopolis and other office areas. And of course for all the visitors of the Green Campus and the city of Delft. Several, new means of public transportation will come into operation to enable easy and green mobility at the moments you want. The Personal Rapid Transit system , along the energy wall, provides a regular connection to railway station Delft South. But there are also stops at the Energy Gateway and at the canal Schie, where you can take an electric whisper boat to the city’s center of Delft and Rotterdam.

The Green Parking Lot/Mobility Junction meets the growing need for electric charging with plugs and inductive charging places, and may provide sustainable liquid and gaseous fuels as well. The electricity needs are generated by the Energy Wall and the parking lot itself. New electric storage options (batteries, fly wheels) will be used to bridge the gap between the moments of electricity generation and demand. In future when the fuel cell has developed and many cars will have a fuel cell that produces electricity with a high efficiency, this parking lot will become the sustainable smart and flexible power plant of the future.

At this Parking Lot/mobility junction there must be the possibility to change to another electric transport modality. It must be possible to take an electric taxi that maintains connections to Delft, The Hague, Rotterdam and Zestienhoven Airport. The Personal Rapid Transit system can bring you to the railway station or an electric whisper boat. Clean and electric touring car busses can bring groups of visitors and must be able to park here for some hours and charge their batteries or fuel their tanks with clean and renewable fuels. A white (electric) bike plan, in combination with electric Tuk Tuks, Segways, the Delft ‘Vrachtfiets’ and other forms of futuristic personal transport will complete the options for attractive, affordable personal mobility.
