The Green Campus location

The new, lively Green Campus area that we want to realize at the TU Delft, is strategically located, nearby large TUD faculties, close to Technopolis and YES!Delft, opposite the TU Delft exit from the A13 (Rotterdam-The Hague), at 1 km distance from railway station Delft South, and next to the foreseen electric tramway (2016).

The area encloses some sport fields and the building ground of the burnt down Architecture Faculty (1), a 1 ha parking area (2), sport fields (3) and a small park-like area next to the CiTG faculty. In this area we want to develop a Green Hotel, a green parking lot/mobility and energy centre, green floating restaurants, and green leisure facilities. A 4-5 ha natural surrounding with ornamental waters, exhibitions and outdoor facilities provides the scenery.

Furthermore we want to develop along the Kruithuisweg the Energy Wall with an integrated Personal Rapid Transit system, providing clean, electric transportation from and to the Green Campus area.
