12 dynamic missions have been identified that cover important, promising themes for creating a more sustainable society. Missions that develop in time, that can be addressed with many technologies, services and systems, in an entrepreneurial, sustainable way. These Green Campus missions are:

  5. Energy efficient
  6. Energy and material producer from organic waste
  7. Smart heat grids
  8. Smart DC electricity grids
  9. No waste; full recycling and re-use
  10. Clean water producer
  11. Sustainable, cradle to cradle, products
  12. Clean air producer

Each mission provides huge challenges, and requires a lot of research, development and innovation. But we do not only want to study these topics, above all we want to ‘realize’ the green campus. A green campus that will never be finished. The green campus will be an inspiring place, a living lab, where innovation and new developments will never stop. A dynamic place where scientists, students and companies work together to realize the sustainable green solutions for our world’s future.
